Group 1 Ford Basingstoke

I would not recommend Group 1 Ford Basingstoke because whilst the sales team have been helpful in communicating with me, the standards of the repairs have been well below expectations costing me over £400 in repairs. 3 of the 4 tyre sensors were faulty, taking 2 visits to fix properly, during both inspections a nail was not spotted and two of the tyres were put back on the wrong way around. All 4 tyres needing replacing due to age and cracking around the inside wall, not spotted before collection or during the following visits.

The staff at Group 1 Ford Basingstoke were good because the buying process lead by Scott was super easy and all the small wear an tear issues (used car) were addressed perfectly and professionally before the car was delivered to my home.
Few days after, a previously unidentified defect was found. There was a short innitial misunderstanding about the defect but after it was determined as preexisting, the service and communication was outstanding (Paul) and the repair done straight away. After the replacement part arrived they have arranged for the car to be picked up repaired and returned the next morning. So all in all despite the defect, I was very pleased with the way it was addressed and dealt with.

The experience at Group 1 Ford Basingstoke was great because Fraser was very easy to deal with and made the whole experience nice and easy.

I'd recommend Group 1 Ford Basingstoke because the staff, in particular Sam Collier, were excellent

The staff at Group 1 Ford Basingstoke were good because they were friendly and helpful, only issue was we found scratches on the n /s which were buffed out but when getting the car home I noticed the painted areas were very dull so they weren’t polished which I did myself, also only had front mat which didn’t fit so brought my own. I will be using the Wokingham branch for service only because it’s a lot closer to us.
These are minor things but overall very happy.
Also the number plates must have been changed after the test drive as the rear holder was rattling against the boot lid- had to fit some foam pads to stop the noise.

Group 1 Ford Basingstoke were great because Scott made the entire experience with my Volvo very pleasant and stress-free. He was extremely helpful, answered all my questions, and made sure everything was handled smoothly. Excellent service I’d gladly buy with him again.
